I was checking out concerts in ATL and was wondering if anyone is interested in going to some. I'm looking at:



Counting Crows/Goo Goo Dolls at HiFi Buys on 9/3

Tom Petty at HiFi Buys on 9/22

Eric Clapton at Gwinnett Center on 10/14 (probably too expensive for me)

If anyone is a fan of Lyle Lovett, V and I were passed down tickets from her mom to see him at Chastain tonight. If anyone is like a HUGE fan of Lyle or something you would probably be more interested than we are, so V would probably be happy to share them. Otherwise we're going for the free food and second-hand smoke. :-D

Brett Dennen this Friday at 8:30 at the Variety Playhouse? Jill, Jill's bro, V, and I are going. Matt said he's down as long as Rach wants to go. I'm gonna head down to venue tomorrow and buy tickets from there so I don't have to pay the convenience charges. Let me know if you want me to pick one up for you.

Dave Matthews Band with Jason Mraz opening I figure I can kill two birds with one stone here. Not sure what kind of response I will get from 409 but the concert is in Nashville on April 25 (weekend before Vegas trip). I will probably spring for the $75 tickets if I decide to go.

i've seen jason mraz before. he was really good and a lot of fun. jill thought so too when she went. arif, didn't you go with her?

anyways, i would LOVE to go. I've always wanted to see DMB. But my friend is getting married that day, so I'm out. :,-(

i saw jack johnson with jill, but I'd be down for seeing dmb and jm. I'm not sure if I want to spend $75+gas monies just before the vegas trip though. I figure that's at least 3, mabye 4 lap dances, or an hour on the craps table. veganomics ftw!

man too bad you guys arent going a week later to vegas - i would be finished with my finals and it would be my birthday :(

(it's our schools fault for being lazy on getting the academic calendars finalized tho)
