I second the batman rating. It was pretty spectacular.

So for all the 409 stragglers who don't yet know, yes indeed Batman was spectacular. I particularly enjoyed several new developments. I would not have guessed Maggie Gyllenhaal would become Batman's sidekick: Robin, the Boyish Wonder. This added to the complicated relationship she has with the Joker, who is the most captivating villain to be produced in a long while. The fact that he's being controlled by aliens makes his insanity all the more plausible. Evil always has an explanation, and the evil-doers are naught but products of their circumstances. 5 out of 5 Bat-reviews.

saw the new star wars movie. total waste of time.
nothing new added to the star wars saga and obviously geared toward the younger crowd. if you hated jar jar binks, you will hate the idiotic comedic relief of the droids in this one.

Burn After Reading - Luckily I had beat'd the clock before this one. There's like two small chuckles in it, and one of them is a dildo joke. GJ, guys. Once I had finished my Movie Tavern philly cheese steak I was out of entertainments. The conversation at the end pretty much sums up the whole movie, as in what the eff did we learn from all this? I dunno. 2 out of 5 blown away smiling faces.
